The short version

This website sets no cookies — no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. That's why you weren't shown a cookie banner. There's nothing here for you to consent to or opt out of.

For a family mediation website this is a deliberate choice. People researching separation are often doing so privately, sometimes on a shared device, and there's no good reason to record their visit.

What does get processed

• Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and Google may log the request, including your IP address. No cookie is set. [Optional: self-host the fonts to remove this entirely — see LAUNCH-CHECKLIST.md.]
• Server logs. Vercel, which hosts this site, keeps standard security logs including IP addresses. These are used to keep the site available and to block abuse, not to profile visitors.
• The enquiry form. What you submit is emailed to Lucy and handled as described in the privacy notice. Nothing is stored in your browser.

If this changes

If analytics or a booking tool that sets cookies is added later, this notice will be updated and a proper consent banner added first — under UK law, non-essential cookies need your consent before they're set.

Clearing your tracks

If you're worried about someone else seeing that you've visited, your browser's private or incognito window won't record the visit in your history. Women's Aid publishes detailed guidance on covering your tracks online at womensaid.org.uk.
