What I can help with

Everything starts with a MIAM. Where it goes next depends on what you need to resolve.

MIAM

Your first meeting, on your own with me. Information about your options and an assessment of whether mediation is right for you. £60 per person.

Child arrangements

Where the children live, time with each parent, holidays, schools and handovers. You leave with a written parenting plan.

Financial mediation

Property, savings, pensions and debts. Full disclosure on both sides and the documents your solicitor needs for a consent order.

Shuttle mediation

You sit in separate rooms and I move between you. For when being in the same room isn't workable but mediation still is.

Online mediation

The whole process over video, including separate virtual rooms. Useful if one of you has moved away, or childcare makes travel hard.

Evening appointments

Sessions outside working hours so you don't have to explain an afternoon off to your employer.

Who I work with

Separating and divorcing couples, married or not. Parents who were never a couple. Grandparents trying to keep contact with grandchildren. People years past a separation whose arrangements have stopped fitting.

You don't need to have started a court application, and you don't need a solicitor to begin. You do both need to be willing to be in the process — mediation is voluntary, and it only works when both of you choose it.

Not sure which you need?
